    858 pedal rebuild

    Does anyone have detailed insturctions(pics prefered) on how to disassemble and rebuild shimano pedals?

    No, but I have 858's. I think Shimano got away from the 858, so getting help on it may be tough. I know that I plan on getting Eggbeaters or 540's next...

    and do a search for pd-m858 ( ah, here it is, hope it's helpful)

    also check some of the mtn bike mag sites (dirt rag, mtn bike, bike, etc), I know a couple of them had some good instructions for the 747's in the past, but don't recall which one. Also try google or other favorite search engine
