    8 Speed 11-30t to 11-32t cassette question

I have an 11-30t XT 8sp cassette now, and I just switched to a double in the front so I thought about doing this, if it was possible. Basically, can I use the first few small cogs from the XT I have, and just replace the ones that are stuck together (don't know what else to call this piece) with one that goes up to 32t? In essence, creating a 11-32t cassette

You can just buy an 11-32 8 speed cassette, if you have an aluminum FH Body you'll have to search for a 12-32 XTR and just replace the smallest cog with an 11t but if you have a steel FH Body...both Shimano and SRAM make 11-32 8 speed cassettes.
