    8 to 10 speed help

Swapping from a shimano cs hg30 81 8 speed to a cs-hg62 10 speed. Got it on, and it's on there but could have a slight slight wiggle to it. Can't tell if it could be the actual free hub itself. It turns and everything, torqued up. Do I need the 1mm spacer? I've seen YouTube builds and none run the spacer..

Says this on all the sites I checked:
Compatible with 8/9 speed freehub bodies

So I'm assuming it's just years of useage on the hub I have

If all of the cogs move in unison when you wiggle one of them it's the freehub, which is pretty common.

Well if you had the cassette off already, you know how simple it is, so take the cassette back off, and check for play in the freehub.
