    3x8 crankset...

Hey all, tried to do a search but can't find what I'm looking for...Anyways, I have a 2012 Giant Talon 2 with the factory 3x8 cranks and I'm looking to upgrade the cranks but would like to maintain the same 3x8 set up. I'm having a hard time locating a 3x8 set up so I'm wondering if a 3x9 set up would work?

No real need to search. Just scroll down the list of topics in this forum. This question was asked last week.

8 and 9 speed crank sets are the same. I would not use a 10 speed crank set on a 8 speed system others might disagree.
