Dave Turner (turnerbikes), has one on his RFX... it looks the same as the current one, except for the aesthetics and middle chainring...

it definitely looks better than the 2007 xt!
it is strange that the 2007 xt cost a couple $ more than the 2008!

not here... the 2007 costs normally around 130 EUR over here..and now it is going for 100 EUR, so the 2008 is more expensive

I have the Deus now and have XT/XTR cranks on other bikes. If price is about the same, I'd go with XT for better bearings, easier installation and better shifting.

Ooooer... too bad the only places that have these so far are in Germany, and it costs a small fortune to ship from there to Australia. Hopefully others (eg CRC) aren't too far off.

CRC usually has a bit higher prices on Shimano than the ones I get around here... but considering that they have great shipping prices (even free after certain amounts) it might be cheaper for you in the end...

$crew that, I'll stick with the older HT2 cranks for a lot cheaper and look at these sometime in '08 or '09.
