    1x9- Jones Bar set-up

Not sure that this should go here as it fits between a number of places.
I'm in the final stages of building up a 29er with a Jones H-bar that I'll be seting up as a 1x9. I was going to use the new XTR dual control stuff, they are particularly nice because the dualies have a similarly designed brake only, but I've recently read that the levers don't quite reach as the hydrolic reservoirs get in the way.
The 2003 XTR Dualie stuff reaches fine, but I don't think they make a brake only left hand lever.
    So what would you do?
    1) Matching Hope (or other) brakes and a Thumbie?
    2) Righthand 2003 XTR dualie and non matching lefthand brake (Hope or other)?
    3) Matching New XTR in the hope that someone will eventually make longer aftermarket levers?
I know this is something of a specialist question, but thoughts would really be appreciated.

my vote would be for non dual control stuff.

i would be curious if you could use Avid Juicy brakes and the matchmaker to mount the shifter pod. the matchmaker has the ability to adjust pod location somewhat and combined with the adjustability of the X0 shifter pod might work nicely on Jones bars. if that doesn't work my next choice would be a thumbie.

Aquaholic might have some valuable input into this setup as I believe he used a X0 pod and RD on his 4 spd Jones setup.

make sure you post up some pics when you get it all dialed in. (post them in the 1x9 thread please too)
