    1x chain guide.

Looking at a 1x chain guide. Whats the difference/advanatages between the frame mount and bb mount? I like the frame mount just for eas of installation but are there any sacrifices?

BB mount usually cheaper but can be bumped out of position with a hard hit. Crank removal required to move back. Seat tube mount can move also, but then all you need is a screwdriver to fix
Old enough to know better. And old enough not to care. Best age to be.

BB mount, as stated, is usually cheaper. I have found that the BB mount does flex too, so you can still drop chains.

The ST mount are pretty solid. I have had no issues with mine.

I like the frame mount style for ease of use. The e.13 especially with its eccentric seat tube mount.

I don't believe there is a big difference, but as people have already said you have to decide between the tradeoff of $, convenience, and performance.
