I got one from universalcycles.com a few weeks ago.

It is HEAVY, 420 grms, about 1/4 lb heavier than XT. Maybe the added weight won't be so noticeable on the bike.

    I wish they were 11/36.

Same here, an XT level 12-36 would be nice.

Me too, Bike Bling, on sale also. If you are concerned with weight, mine came in at 430 grams. There are 454 grams in a pound of course! Has me moving in another direction...and spending more money. Hold out for more options?

WOW 11-39 Now you're talking, might just get this 1 by 9 thing happening.

Will this damage the freewheel hub? Please explain, don't want to trash my new Hadleys just yet!!

can the shimano 12-36t cassette be used with a sram derailer? and I'm not talking about the XX rear der, like an X-9 or something, or do I have to get a shimano railer?
If a XC bike with 4 in. of travel goes down the RedBull Rampage course and nobody is there to see it, is it considered DH

11/39 ? going to be more torque than 11/34 or 11/36 , question is will your deraillier work?
    I would ask action tec

all their cassettes are seperate cogs so no carrier so No aluminum freehubs

Shimano 12-36 works w/my sram x9 and I also used actiontec ti 36 tooth at one time but it was bent useless after 3 rides. Waste of 60 bucks. I took off the 34 tooth cog from a Sram 11-34 970 when i tried the action tec. The Shimano part is heavy but has spacers b/w each cog so it hasn't bent yet. I tried to put on an 11 tooth sram small cog on the shimano --> no go. I haven't tried a shimano 11 tooth yet
