Off season. Persoally I like the threads flamming 29ers and SMT! Come racing season I'll be all about the races and festivals. I might even drag SMT out to race, that away I'll have a chance of beating at least one competitor!

In the mean time it's diggin season, and can't really post or share pics on that.

I personally like threads where people show what they have been up to, like Lunchbox getting a new bike and riding spot (still waiting on the video) or all of Ustemuf's old threads about hitting 50 footers and stuff. Seems like people don't post anything about themselves on here anymore. If you hit a cool new trail or jump, Post it, your riding gets me more stoked than anything, no matter how big/small the thing you did is.

Problem with posting video and pictures is a lot of the riding spots in our sport are quazie legal at best. A few people have actually gotten into legal problems over vids made on such trails. Also, it's disrespectful to the people that build or maintain the trails, because it draws unwanted attention and traffic. If I'm not mistaken, pictures and videos taken from smart phones can be tracked to the location they were taken from.

XX1 isnt really a topic that warrants too much discussion in this forum. When they make something directly DH oriented (and I am sure they will) people will create threads. There are tons of XX1 threads and discussions going on, search is your friend. /'nuff said

I would have liked to see a Pro GRT at North Star as well, but at least we have four others GRT's in CA, including Mammoth. Allthough you can't really consider Sea Otter a true DH coarse.

I converted my 10 spd cassette to a 7, it's still more gears tha I need.
