What would you pay for a used 2012 Transition TR-450?

Pinkbike link: 2012 Transition TR-450, Large, Barely Ridden - Pinkbike

I know I'm asking too much. So what would you pay for it?

(I got rid of those stupid grips and put new, better ones on)

This isn't a sales pitch. I'm just asking how you guys would price it if you were selling it.

    Thanks.

good luck trying to get 3900 for that , juicy 3 brakes ? really ? i mean what year is that 888 ? The only thing thats worth a good price is your frame and shock. Im not trying to knock on your bike but you gotta understand its 2013 with all new stuff and look at all the other bikes at the price range of 3900 compared to yours. I wouldnt pay you no more then 3k max for that .

Honestly, you've got a kick-arse frame with a so-so build. Most people could build what you have new for the price you're asking.

Sometimes people don't want to hear it, but I buy and sell a lot of bikes and parts. My formula: Multiply my build cost (or cheapest build cost online) x .50 and that's your selling price.

If you're still sitting on a nice bike six months later, you know your price is way off.

Looks like you moved parts from your Taka to the TR450, right?

Under $3K, just like the others said.

I would sell the frame and the parts separately. You can then always offer to sell as a combo.

Realistically you will probably get somewhere between $1900-2000, unless you find someone really, really dumb.

I was thinking this even before I saw your post. Sounds pretty accurate.

for that price there better be some shweet aftermarket parts on it. Also, if you used takeoffs, its not barely ridden anymore is it?

Ain't that the truth. It's almost irresponsible to buy anew bike if you're on any sort of budget. I am thankful for the people who need this years "______"!
