well if you want the shore and like it better get it dont get the stinky because of the fork. Forks are easier and cheaper to replace then a frame

Have you had a chance to ride either?

i liked the domains and thought they were good then a guy at my lbs said he wouldn't ride domains because the stanctions were to small for a 180 mm single crown fork and that they leak oil.

but if your small then you may not need super beefy stanctions and have you read reviews or looked into the stanction size your self

dont go off the opinion of one person

I know people that will bash companies and their product and if you ask them why they say horrible customer service yeah customer survice is HUGE but dosent change the performace of the product

and if the guy wont ride the forks hows he know they will have problems

Of the two I personally think the Norco is a better design. To me it feels much more plush than the Kona. You should really try to ride both.

i am 6 ft tall and am 190 pounds, ya if he hasent riden how would he know he just looked at it and said it was weak, have u even seen like a domain that was total busted, have u guys heard of any problems with the domains. how can the stanctions be to small, they are 35mm just like last years 66 and the manitou travis are even smaller 34mm, i think im going to buy a shore. but i havent seen the stinky yet because my lbs that has kona has not re-opend yet from when they burnt down

A really good business rule I learned is that people will put up with a slight imperfection in a product if the service is great and people will also look past imperfect service if a product is incredible... but when the both are poor you wont ever see that customer again.

buy the shore... Norco's take on FSR is pretty good and the domain is pretty much a totem coil with smaller stanchions and non adjustable high speed comp.

I went from an older Stinky to a 06 Shore 3, and absolutely love the Shore. I have not ridden the newest Stinky with the DOPE setup, but the Shore kills all the other Stinky's I have ridden. The 08 Shore is even better yet and can be built nice and light with the right parts.

I recommend the Stinky because they work, they last and the stock fork is something you actually want. Norcos look cool, particularly this year, but after a couple of seasons they all seem to end up sounding like someone rattling a tin coffee can with some nails in it when they ride by at Whistler...

Yeah, the 07 66s ran 35mm stanchions. Your LBS guy doesn't know what he is talking about.

ya its good not to be cheap when buying a bike i learned that from the aniki but for under $1000 its a good bike but fs bikes under 1000 usaly suck. the aniki was a good bike to start me into freeriding but now it is not enough.
