well i guess it kinda got outdated. it wasnt really that practicle(sp) of a bike if you asked me, and they had a lot of problems with faliures and stuff. there isnt really room for it in the current sc line up.

it does look cool and seemed to ride ok in the short time i had on one.

Super 8 was one of my favorites frames untill I try it....I have few friends with Super 8's and no matter what set up you have that thing is super heavy ... and they all touch the saddle when bottom-out and single pivot is no the best...I give you the look..that's it.

    collectable

well then im guessing if i can find one for super cheep i should pick one up ....it could be a collectable or have the frame as an extra or sumthing. i love that frame, faults or not i bet with the new tecnology in forks and rear shocks that it would preform much better now.

I think there were issues with the rear swingarm (correct me if I'm wrong), and I don't think you can get replacements anymore (unless you get another used one), so you might want to consider that...

I still gots mine and I like it. Does have some brake jack with the single pivot. I think the 2000's had the weak swingarm. 2001 fixed the problem.

I too heard they are no longer making parts for them.
