Versus Weapon-x vs. Astrix Havoc -

Which one is the best frame for DH?
I have both of them, and need data (concerning weight, behaviour etc.) that will help me decide which frame I should sell...
    Thanks

Ummm... if you've got 'em both, ride them. Keep whichever one you like better. Anything that anyone tells you is going to just be their opinion. Yours is the one that really matters.

I have read nothing but amazing reviews on the Astrix. From what I've been able to gather they pedal amazingly well, plow through any tough section(commonly known as monster trucking) and rail corners. Plus they are available with a floating brake. Now if yours doesn't have a floating brake, call Astrix up and get one on the way. They have fantastic customer service!

I was going to order myself an Astrix Havoc, and I still may next season. The only reason that I didnt is that it was a bit overkill for my local race training course that we ride everyweekend year round. My local race course is a prime candidate for the Havoc, which is why I will likely order one next year, but I needed to get a bike that would work well on my local trails first.

I say go for the Astrix. You really can't go wrong.

Just a question, which model did you get? Did you get the frame with a 100mm bottombracket and El Jefe shock or the 83mm bottom bracket and Swinger shock? Either way, both are awesome.

Floater, 83 mm and 6way shock...

I rode the versus at Les Gets, France. Think I'll try the Astrix before I decide...
