Using 24" rear wheel on Trek Session 77

Does anyone have experience using a 24" rear wheel on a Trek Session 77 for DH? How does it effect handling?

    thanks

Doesn't the Session have adjustable dropouts for a 24" wheel? It helps to keep geometry relatively unchanged?

technically you can put a 24 inch wheel in any 24 inch OR Bigger wheel frame (26", 29'er).... but the session does have the adjustable dropouts.

I noticed the ability to move the dropouts on my trek, but it never dawned on me that it was for a 24" wheel. Makes sense though, the holes are an inch apart.
