I am building a new bike with a custom frame. The effective ST angle is about 71deg, but the actual angle is 66deg. I also like to have the nose of my seat pointed down a little.
Will the 2-bolt style seatpost give me enough angle and which give the most adjustment?
Right now I'm looking at the Easton EA70 and Thomson Elite Setback. I'd like to keep the weight below 300g for a 350mm post.
I have the same problem with my M1. My Thomson Elite post didn't get my seat any where near level but the Easton EA 50 (I think it a EA 50) got it pretty close. I like the security of a 2-bolt better but it just didn't work due to the angle.
That's pretty cool. So you just wrap it out with the stock one. Does Thomson use serrations on the curved part? It looks like the regular Elite will be the best, the setback one will just make the problem worse.

Nice. . . . thanks. I didn't even know this existed. Guess I'll have a nice
easton post sitting in my box of parts now.
