when i saw them at sea otter i felt them - and they were really slippery.

i would be scared to ride these things - they felt like someone had sprayed them w/ butter.

    they get a thumbs down

Good idea, it just needs refinement. I think that with some rider feedback and some rubber compound adjustments, these tires would be sick, but as for now in the beginning stages, not so good
Passion is what we all need, the rest is secondary.
Yeah I ride fixed on occasion, get over it.

Cmooreboards I totally agree with you. The mountain bike tire pattern is fast but will roll over easy when leaning into a tight turn. But shorter knobs on the edge of the tires would take care of that problem. With my set of Maxxis tires, I can lean into tight turns without any problems and still have that predictable feel. The tires are OK; they just take awhile to get use. I'll buy another set when these go.

I would rather have a tire company spend its R&D on different compounds, tread patterns etc. Leave the designing to Troy Lee.

    lol

People have been trying to get colored tires mainstreamed for ever.

We find our way back to black inevitably.

    Silly.
