    Specialized Roval DH Wheels Tubeless?

Hey has anyone run these wheels tubeless? They are stock on my 2012 SX Trail and I was thinking of giving it a try.

Whatever you do, don't go over the handlebars. It hurts.

    Yes.

I use the SBC/Roval tublesss tape, 3 or 4 laps around the rim (i get the tape fairly high up the rim sidewall). Stans has a slightly wider tape, but the Roval tape covers 10+ wheels (versus i think 2 or 3 wheels w/Stans tape). Also use Roval valve and Stans sealant.

I have set up 5 Demo 8s this way. No issues. Tires used: SBC Chunder, Clutch, and Butcher in SX sidewall version; Butcher DH. Typically run 30 PSI in the tires.

Ghetto tubless is another good option. I have not done it with these rims, but did convert my kid's 20 inch Hotrock, after she flatted in her first DH race.
