The history of Lotus in F1 goes back way before Redbull even existed.
Go check out the John Players Special Lotus F1 cars from the late 70's / early 80's. They were an absolute force to be reckoned with.
Too bad they didnt do a proper black/gold tribute to them

That is pretty cool that Intense is selling them. The Lotus one would be my choice over the Renault but I'm happy to stick with my current M9.

Ferrari, McLaren? Seems to me Ferrari carries just as much weight, and would look perfect on an M9.
Don't forget Senna, btw.

Yes it does, but Lotus team that bike is a tribute to has no claim to that history, so it's not cool.
Lotus F1 now is the old Renault, Benetton, Toleman boys, Lotus F1 the year before last was an all new team from Tony Fernandes. It's just a pop up branding sticker now, neither of those teams get to talk about Lotus' history, they're just keeping the name warm for whoever buys it next.
I know McLaren are in bed with Specialized and Ferrari are usually kicking about with Bianchi, but what about a blue and white Williams bike? I wonder who bought the Renault bike, with any luck it'll be someone from Enstone.

Going back even further - The original Lotus was the one founded by the late Colin Chapman back in the 50's - who pioneered ground effects (long since banned in F1)
Was so sad to see that team leave the grid in the 90's. And I was very disappointed when Tony Fernandes had the rights to the name and circulated at the back of the grid (I was a huge Lotus fan back in the day - saw my first F1 race in 1978 when Mario Andretti won the German GP)
