Maxxis Minions. DHF front & rear will work. 3c for the front if you can afford it. Make sure you get the DH casing. You'll pinch without DH casing.

Of course, reasonable minds can differ.

If you're not happy with the shock I'd look into having it custom tuned by Push or similar, not getting a different shock.

My vote is for keeping your bike setup for trails and renting DH bikes. It makes more $$$ sense than buying a DH or majorly upgrading your bike unless you ride the lifts a lot and keeps a lot of wear and tear off your trail bike.
