It looks like we ride at some of the same parks. Hopefully we can take a few laps together this year! Unfortunately, I never got around to a "Part 2". I put the camera away towards the end of the season...
Outstanding video!! Seriously nice editing and riding. Looks like a great season. One question though... How did you end up riding in Scotland? It's pretty far away from the other places in the video.. haha..
Great videos guys. We will be making one as well. We are the old 40s generation BMX doing some MTB and some jumps and drops.
getting footage right now, so stay tune

I studied abroad for the first half of the year in the UK and took a short 3 day trip to Ft. William.
Carraig042 - Awesome video. I think that's the first time I've seen Mt. Creek and Whistler in the same video. Looks like you had a pretty wicked summer.

Thanks, I sure did! Both of those places are a great deal of fun to ride.

Carraig042 - How would you compare the trail quality between MCBP and Whistler? I know the amount of vertical at Whistler puts MCBP to shame, but concerning the trails themselves, what did you think?

As you know Whistler has many more trails to ride than MCBP does, but that is not a deterrent. MCBP has been taking some big leaps to make the place like it once used to be since the new ownership. Maintenance is pretty good now. The trails are all very nice and there is a wide variety of trails to choose from. If you want groomed trails with big tables, you are covered. If you like gnar/technical terrain, they also have something for you. New people to DHing? Again, they have some fun/flowy beginner trails.
There is some big stuff at MCBP, mostly in the form of drops and tables. I have been there 3 times now (12 hour drive) and I would not hesitate to go back this summer.

I've ridden there a handful of times there and will be going back (hopefully as a season pass holder) next summer. Good to hear, though, that the trails were of good quality even when compared to Whistler. Makes me feel a lot better about never having traveled to the DHer's Mecca...
