    Plattekill!!!

Anyone else going this weekend? I think they're opened the first weekend of each month this year. Who's in?! I know there's no groomers, but this is authentic DH! Steep, loose, crazy DH!

    Platty, I love you!

I'd be all for it but need new brakes. the shimons I have are terrible. bleed multiple times, new pads and rotors and the lever feel is still squishy and no bite.

I'll make a recommendation - Hope Tech 3 v4. I've been on them for 2 years now. My latest bike has the e4's. You need an 8mm wrench and a hose to bleed them. No special $50 kit. Bleed them once and you're done. Gravity bleed like a car. It won't take more than 15 minutes the first time and will be 10 minutes after that. You don't even have to remove the pads!

Shimano and sram both suck and have their issues. I wasn't sure which ones to go with. Then I remembered Hope. I'm not changing to anything else for a while.

the shimons are what came on the bike.. I'll look Into the Hopes. hurt my wrist at work today. making the carpal tunnel flare up something angry. in not as young and crazy as I once was.

Have the surgery. I did 2 years ago. I wouldn't be able to ride if I didn't.

Larry, I'm looking to ride my fat and extremely out of shape body at Windham at some point over Labor Day weekend.

I'm not sure where/if I'm riding that weekend. But look for the other fat/out of shape guy! I'll be on a Devinci Wilson. Black /orange. Lol! Ttyl, Fahn
