just finished watching it! Had to keep away from the forums so as to not spoil everything. Dang, Hill rode well! Long overdue. Him getting a bit choked up during the post-race interview was very telling of how much racing means to him. Cool to see. And on the complete opposite of the personality spectrum, Ratboy. Bryceland did a fine job too! To be honest, I was expecting a lot more crashes after the carnagefest that was practice, but I guess everyone exploded and got it out of their systems. Great racing on what looked like a great course. And even though I'm not a big Gee Atherton fan, he put down a great ride after injuring himself. Bravo.

I don't care what you ride or how you ride just as long as you ride.

I'm truly STOKED that Sam won!!!... He my favorite rider. I'm glad he found his form again! No one picks lines like Sam can. He deserved the win at MSA. And one FLATS no less. Good for him. Thunder from Down-Under!!!

I don't remember if Windham is a technical track, or a pedal fest, or somewhere in between. We'll see how he does there, but I suspect it's not a track that suits his strengths.

I think Hill would win alot of races if the tracks were all steep, rough and technical, and not so smooth and pedally.
On a legit DH track Sam Hill is the Best ever.

I'm somewhat local and have been to the past 2 Windham races. It is not generally considered a technical track. At least not by these guys. I'd be scared to death.

Tough to say who that favors as basically anyone in the top 10 is good at everything.

Windham suits Sam pretty well, it's pretty high speed and short, perfect for Sam to blitz.

Pretty sure there are a lot of people congratulating him in the real/non-internet world. I really doubt he reads MTBR. Great to see him back on the top step.
