Good video, but I've seen a bunch on more inferior forks which looked the same. I want to know what's inside these forks and how they work, and perhaps if they are a match for the CCDB.

yeah, but the funny thing is, if you see this guy ride in person, it looks just the same

Remember his part in NWD - it's slow motion, but his jersey is still flapping faster in the movie than mine in real life...

Fabien was riding the 888 with BOS cartridge kit in that video.... only Nico had the BOS complete fork.

Sweet video, but how does that advertise/promote BOS? I mean, sure the guys are rippin, but I'm sure they'd be just as smooth and fast if they were on an 888 or Boxxer.

What exactly makes these suspension products worth the extra thousands?

Duhhhh, they are worth the extra thousands because Nico Vouilloz... you know... 10X World Champ.... uses them

true, but I'd still say the video does a better job than a static picture of a fork in a magazine.

Has anyone ever felt like their 888rc2x or Boxxer WC wasn't cutting it, and that they needed a better fork?

I don't think the BOS is worth it.

There is always a chance for a better shock/fork. More competitors can only mean one thing: improvement/development and lower costs.

How can you know without trying it?

There is a saying about motorcycle suspension: "The best you've ridden is the best you know". In other words, it's difficult or impossible to understand that your suspension could be better than what you currently have -- but when you do ride something better, you'll notice and you don't want to go back.

"Has anyone ever felt like their 888rc2x or Boxxer WC wasn't cutting it"
If you ask someone who has never ridden anything better than a 888 or Boxxer WC, they'll probably say "no". Ask someone who has tried a 888 with a BOS cartridge, maybe you'll get a different answer.
