So after doing an oil change and cleaning on my 2012 888 RC3 V2, I noticed something that I'm not sure is right. I've watched the Team CRC mechanic video several times and don't think I've done anything wrong.
When I cycle the compression leg through its travel, it ramps up very hard as if the air pressure inside is building up. It feels like there is an air spring in that side. I thought that side should be able to cycle all the way through the travel, and the spring side is the only one giving you the resistance.
If I install the top cap with the leg half way through the travel, instead of at the top, it makes it a negative spring, making me need to pull the leg to get it to go back to the top, before it springs back down.
Anyone know what the deal is?
