Cool-blue Rhythm This is my happy face.

You just can't see it under my helmet. This is my first ride on my new-to-me 2011 Demo II at Northstar this weekend. Hard to find DH bikes that fit short people (5'1") and was thrilled to find this XS on Pinkbike. Still have a lot to learn - mostly stuck to blues and did one black - but super excited about it.

No questions (at least for right now). Just wanted to share....

Welcome to the club I just started downhilling this year. I've tried a couple of other times and finally but the bullet and bought a season pass to Trestle this year.

I'm trying to make it as many weekends as I can, focusing on the basics like cornering, body position, and simple drops. Because at speed, everything is so different.

It's also a lot harder on the body than xc riding but man, it's a lot more fun!
