    Morewood Zuza Build Comments?

Do you guys think this would be a decent build?

I think I'll go this direction because it has a decent amount of travel, and it should pedal decently from what Ive read.

    Am I missing anything?
Notice and problems with that setup?
It will be my first build, will all that fit/function correctly?
Do I need to get cables, or do those come with the brakes and shifters?
And are those cranks gonna work alright?

Thanks, all comments will be greatly appreciated.

In general comment on your build list, some of the stuff seems a little incoherent maybe - but that depends on what you intend to do with the bike. Wheels and handlebars are on the light side, not really up for it in terms of abuse. The crank on the other hand is a tank.
From what I can see, all your stuff will work on the frame (just double check that you have the right FD...I'm too lazy to look it up for you... ;-) ).

Now, on the frame - you need to define "pedalling"...
The one thing that stands out with this frame is that it is very short in the TT, even in the L size. Depending on how tall you are, that may put you in a less than ideal position for pedalling. (with the 70mm stem you chose, it will be slightly roomier though, so it might work out OK). Other than that, yes, you can get the seat in the right place more or less, and with a dual ring it will climb most hills...it doesn't bob excessively. It's no mountaingoat but it gets the job done.

For the part that matters: the bike is a blast on the way down! Good jumper, eats drops, nimble enough...tons of fun. You may want to consider a Totem or a new Talas 180 if you can swing it? Makes this frame REALLY come into its own...

Ahh okay, Im 6'3 so maybe it isnt a good bike for me.

I can get better bars and wheels probably if I choose to go with this build.

Thanks for the reply. Ill look more into it and maybe try to ride one seeing as their US HQ is near me.

I'm 6.0 and on the limit, so yeah, probably not a great fit for you. If you can get a ride on one, that's the best way to figure it out.

Don't think those wheels will work, not 20mm? You'll need a BB too if you really want those cranks.
