Mcu Wtf!!!

I have an rst fork with the MCU/Coil spring deal. Anyway, it feels like no matter how hard I ride, the fork won't use all of it's travel and is not very plush. Anybody know if cutting off even part of the MCU will make the fork more plush further into it's travel. I know the MCU is to prevent harsh bottoming out, but what if i only cut off part of it??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you need a softer spring.

I don't want to bottom out, but it seems like it's only using half of its travel while the other dude who I was showing around had a boxxer that was using 3/4 of its travel. I just want my fork to be more plush through more of its travel, but still be progressive at the end.

yeah theres a reason why dont see half decent bikes with rst...
save up for a second hand 888 or something because no matter how hard you try the rst is still gonna suck.
