    Mavic deemax 135 to142 ???

    I have a deemax 2011 is 135 axle, I want to convert into a 142 axle, which should be used?
    What is the difference of these two?

    The goldfish citron colored ones are for PRE 2011 Crossmax SX wheels. You want to use the dark grey ones!

    But they look same, except for color.

    I want to know the difference.
    (black is 2012 and my wheels 2011)

    well just because something appears to be the same doesn't mean that they are. thread pitch is most likely not the same. buy the correct one and don't be ignorant

    shouldn't be too hard to find, its a very popular wheelset. try calling mavic directly maybe? they should be able to sort you out i imagine.

    Bluesboyt, if you have 2011 then you want the black ones. Either way this part is available through your local Mavic dealer. The gold ones are designed to convert wheels older thank 2012. 142 is a relatively new standard so these are new parts to adapt old wheels.
