Reliable source I have says that there is a sale pending, so they are moving still towards developing 2017 products. Even if they did close nd the sale does not go through, US laws indicate you have to provide warranty and service parts for 2 years.

The article is incorrect according to my inside sources. Only the moto division is being shut down. MTB is still alive and likely being sold to some non-U.S. buyer.

all i can say is i had a set of their forks on an old GF mullet.. granted that entire bike sucked, but the forks were pretty much junk. I'm assuming they were low level anyways, but still.

Sure they are. Just click your heels together 3 times while saying "We're going back to Italy, we're going back to Italy..."

Hopefully it's true and they aren't going to be bought out the same way Iron Horse was.

The MTB division is not shutting down, just the motorcycle division.

There was an internal memo posted on one of the sites like pinkbike or vitalmtb etc.

^^Really? That's your inside source? Pinkbike or VitalMTB?! Yeah, I'll stick with the corporate announcement and the fact that all the brains are already over at DVO but... good luck with that! I'm certain the parts unit will be sold but as far as moving the company forward and developing new suspension designs... highly unlikely.

    Have FUN!

They are in talks with several third party people who are interested and cannot go further into details. Well that was the answer to every single question on a recent PB interview. So who is this third party? Shimano? Probably not. Hope? I sure hope so.
Or maybe some wierd new party that we've never heard of before? I think Hope would be the best match but do they have the cash?

It's not going to be Hope, the guys who own Hope are notoriously careful with their money and they control all their manufacturing extremely tightly, even the far eastern parts.

Taking on a failing suspension company that gets 'partners' to make all of it's product is not their style at all.

That's like judging all of Ford just on the Pinto.

888 Rc2x save my ass a few times.

    I don't think i've DH'd on anything but a MZ.

never mentioned an inside source. only the fact that i saw an internal memo from the CEO of Marzocchi was somehow leaked onto the Pinkbike site which states that the MTB division will continue but the motorbike is bye bye..

I think that was the chatter a few weeks ago when the MArz story broke. Seems like the word is officially out now of imminent MTB division closure

Unless of course some 3rd party buyer comes in

Did the chatter mention anything about Seals? Can we still get seals?
