    if you have 59cm head the d3 do not fit!! large to small xl to big!! wit 59cm head the Poc mips xl or the fox rampage carbon 2013-14 large fits best!

    As I said the padded collars are mostly for comfort to riders with weak necks and heavy helmets but I never implied it was meant to be a neck brace for safety.

    I pointed out the movement limiters on the proper neck braces, which are not present on a neck roll, obviously.

    I say Kali Avatar also, if it fits. I have both the composite and carbon. That composite is darn light! Yeah, the carbon is lighter, but only a little more.

    And keep your eyes open for deals on Avatars. I bought the composite from Clymb a few years ago close to $100. I bought the carbon from Art's for about $150.
