    KONA Coilair 2012 vs GIANT Reign SX 2011

    hi guys...

    been looking at this two bikes...and thinking about getting one..
    ill be doing some aggressive all mountain riding and freeriding.

    been thinking about the TREK Scratch/Slash too but its too rich for my blood.
    other models arent so afodable in my country (Israel).

    I think the adjustability of an air sprung bike will be useful to you if you're planning to trail ride. I'm also a big fan of Kona. Both seem like well spec'd bikes to me, though!

    Giant for sure. Better at pedaling when you need to, and nice and soft on the way down. Less flex than the Kona in the rear end

    +1 for a the Giant. I'm a ReignX owner myself and I love the bike. The coilair is a fun bike though, I liked it better than the stab (2008 frames).

    im leaning towards the GIANT too...and loved the feeling and the smothness of them.
    and as for the original thread... how would you guys compare both bikes to the TREK Scratch 9 coil - 2011 ???
    this morning i might have them from someone as a second hand for a good price...
    stock spec...but with FOX vanila 160mm in the front...
