    Keystone Wishlist

Anyway, I was going to post this on the front range board, but I figure that enough other people have been to Keystone that it makes more sense here. Besides I don't think they need more XC trails, but I have no idea what the XC trails are like anyway...

I think its great that Keystone made an attempt at building some Whistler-esque terrain this year. But they fell far short of the mark. As entertaining as some of it was, I found that: they didn't have enough drops, the park was too easy to ride, more intrail stunts needed to be added, etc.

So if we all speak up, I'll email the thread link to the nice folks at Keystone and maybe they will listen...

Great idea on getting this to Keystone for next year. They do a great job every year upping the ante on the snowboard/ski parks...why not for the mntn bike crowds. Maybe they can somehow lure Bender from Silverton next year

After riding Paid in Full alot this past weekend, I think they could have easily put in more launch ramps in the open spaces, and even some road gaps. With the speeds you end up at anyone could clear one of those gravel roads... if a launch ramp was there.

Like you said, I'm happy with the additions but they started it - now I want MORE!!!!!! And evidently they are supplying more - the trail crew said next year there will be some drops found on the mountain, biggest one being a 20 footer!

I think more of those launch ramps would be some good filler for the wide open spots too.

Did anyone mention that they have hotties loading your bike on the lift?
If I get lost, don't go too fast!

i voted for skinnies, you can never have enough single track.

but i think a giant downhill dirt half-pipe for mountain bikes would be cool. similar to a snowboard pipe, but for bikes. i'v seen video of a dirt bowl that these bmxers built in cali, so i know it's possible.

maybe a good set of jumps

yeah keystone is fun even though I got to ride it before the new trail opened. I would suggest after cleaning up some of the braking bumps then they could go on to start work on better things. Tons of potential there, and very nice people. Just need more trails, although the ones they have are a blast.

I think they need to open the T-Bar that is open to snoboarders in the winter. Get some REAL fast DH goin! Think Kamikaze downhill.
