Can be used for same application with a longer fork (and the suspension works correctly).

doesn't look anything like a BR to me...
color and stickers look solid, I dig. should be good fun.

saw a similar pic posted here quite awhile ago, same color, minus the name on the seatstay... and debate about how it's shared with a duncon or whatever.... scissor link = good IMO though...

but gotta say, myspace links are bunk... you have to be a member/sign-in just to view pics. Thanks pdirt for posting that.

That's weird, sometimes it allows for pic viewing (while not signed in), other times it does not. Sorry, just hate the pixelized smaller pics that one is forced to use on this site.

the duncon is actually a trangulated rear end swining on links, not a single pivot with a scissor link...

    wrong DunCon.

    Check it:

called the Akita. ripped from the Soul. no scissor link. that's why in my original post I said I like the scissor link better...

tell me they are not similar?!

dv8cam, sorry for the derail here, just wanted to explain where my statement came from...

WCH, just wondering, what are you talking about with the Whaaaaanfield reference in your sig? Totally OT, I know, but I'm curious.

Originally intended to be 4" travel, but it got bumped up to 5" after the last prototype. I will lengthen the fork when I take it out on its maiden voyage & let you know how it feels in slopestyle mode.

I know the bike's got a shyt-load of decals, but it is sponsorship contractual demands.

A 10 year old with factory sponsorship! Not too much other surface area on the frame. If you have ever been sponsored, you would know that most companies require atleast 2 decals they suppy on the frame in an area that will be seen when racing (for pics), as well as one on the helmet. Some even require decals on your shinguards & car. I don't mind -small price to pay for getting functional, expensive schwag. The decals' weight does not appear to effect speed

I understand that you have to keep your sponsors happy, but I dont think they would want to be associated with a rider/bike thats un tastefully stickered and is made to look cheap etc(sorry if this makes little sense im trying to word without hurting feelings here )

what sponsors and how many logos/stickers are you required to have one show per sponsor?

Some pics from the test ride. I know I am partial, but I loved it!.

Handled great on the Kenter Whoops in 5" mode. It popped up stable, yet easily at speed. I was able to ride a manual through the 15 foot gaps in the cement whoops section.

Lengthened the Pike to 145mm & softened the Pro Pedal to try some slopestyle geo feel. Plush! Fun! Just point & shoot.

Met WCH, Ryan & the West Tex crew @ the Simi BMX track for some gate practice (Fontana national is around the corner). Dropped it down to 4" mode, Pro Pedal at full, and it felt like riding a 24" BMX cruiser. Great gate snaps, great manualing through the whoops section.

I think we have a winner here. Great versatile bike for the money (under $999).

Thanks to Taylor Greathead for the photography. More to come.

Factory racer vs. the ghetto racer tonight at the Whoops.

2003 KHS FR2000 with a shorter shock for lower BB and slacker HA.
Rockshox Psylo with 30mm stanchions for extra weights savings and noddely feel up front
