    Huge 1/2" BMX chain with geared cog/chainring SS setup?

    Can I use a burly freestyle BMX chain with the cogs and chainrings left over from my geared setup? My goal is to turn my play bike into a SS. Is the pin to pin spacing on a BMX chain the same as that of a 8 speed or 9 speed pin to pin? Or is close enough that I can run it as it is?

    that sound like u never saw a 1/2 chain...

    Get a 1/8 BMX chain.. is gonna be big anough...

    Been using a Shadow Conspiracy half-link chain with a Gusset cog and a Black Spire chainring with no issues.
