Upset How do I get my Shimano xt disc brakes(756) to stop howling??!!

I have tried everything, I've aligned, re-aligned,sanded the pads, sanded the rotors and they still howl.
    Any help out there?

    Thanks, -Tree

i dont know what it could be but something that my LBS recommended to me a while back that worked was get ur wife or sisters nail polish remover and wipe it all over ur disc then go down a hill slowly easing the brakes so u still roll but the brake pads are touching the disc and do that a few times...

and it fixed what ever was wrong with mine...also it cleans them and stops em squeeking from squeeking in the future...

What brake pads are you using? Organic pads don't whine as bad, but they lack stopping power. Plenty for a back brake though. (If that's the one giving you trouble)

Oh yeah, get your brake tabs faced, too.
