    Hi, does anyone know what frame this is? (please see profile pic)

    I bought the frame (please see profile pic as i cant upload here) on its own with no logo. Rides nice but want to know what it is for parts etc. Thankyou in advance. Jamie

    Very quick, thanks. Also cheers for posting the picture. You mean its a copy of a Giant by some cheaper make?

    it very well could be an older Giant AC, but the chainstays make me think not. the headtube junction area looks identical to a Giant though...

    I BELIEVE that weird little thing is a "Mr. Toad's". It was effectively a catalog frame, but in the early days of VPP. It actually has a weird little linkage down by the BB that controls the axle path. You can see it's not a normal pivot in the photo, it's actually a pair of links connecting the chainstay to the mainframe.

    I'll try and upload the photo I have at home. I can't find anything with a quick googling. Some mail order company sold a few in the US in the early 2000's, I wanna say 2003. It had 4/5/6" of travel, I believe.

    Pricepoint had a version of that frame with a Manitou Swinger Coil named a Riddik. I had a later air version. The frame looks very similar, the walking bar linkage a bit different. They were catalog frames. Here is a picture of mine form a few years ago:
