    Haro 357 nine

hey, i want to buy a burley freeride bike that can take the 20 to 30 foot drops. I was wondering if the haro 357 nine is a good bike for the big stuff? If not what do you suggest to get for under 2500 with at least 8 inches?

Overbuilt, yet coincidentally not that strong. swingarm design has weak point near the pivot. Not to mention it feels like poo... but if you're going to huckzors, it doesn't matter.

get a used banshee scream and some damn good health insurance.

grow a set of balls and go hard tail. No, just kidding, there are other options than that haro, and the previous guys offered some good advice. There is always FR bikes for sale on ebay, guys buy them and realize they are too much bike for them, so they sell them and buy a scott ransom and never leave the ground again.

exactly, if your asking which bike could do 20-30 foot drops...your not doing the drops....I dont even try that nor do any of my friends with v-10's or karpiel's.

well actually i hit a 20 foot drop on my giant AC2, so i want a big bike so that i can start to do bigger things, and by the way V10s are for racing, not for drops

The V-10s geometry is great for bigs hits as well as racing...honestly unless you have proof you cant say you do 20foot drops,

If you're measuring from the deepest point of that runoff you might come close to 16-17ft. But from lip to landing...maybe 12ft?

    Huffy Carbon from Wallyworld.

J/k. I rode a killer Orange that was pretty solid while airborne, my favorite DH bike is a Ventana La Bruja w/ RC32 and rear shock upgrade to coil.
