If ya'll remember a while ago when me and my friend built that "road gap" we took some heat for it not being road-gappy enough. People complained that the jump was small and we just skimmed over the road and it wasn't a real road gap... Well we wanted to redeem ourselves... and test out my new GoPro.
Same hill, but bigger road, this one measures about 25 feet from take-off to the 'technical' landing, although we tend to short it and only go about 20-22 feet.
My bud had a spare wood jump laying around, so we took it to the hill and this is what happened. In the video you can see us move the jump back to the edge of the road. we started it close, and slowly moved it back until we were clearing the whole road.
(NOTE: this was just for fun, mostly so i could test out my new gopro. this isn't a serious road gap or anything... Just had tons of fun and we are technically clearing a road. we are still too low to clear a car... we're saving that for later.)
hehe yea i'm doing better, thanks... i've hit a couple gaps here n there since being hurt. still holding back a little bit on the gaps, but going harder on the berms and tech than before.
Haha Ustemuf I'd love to come ride with you and hit some real gaps... We're revamping the run in next time we go out so we have more speed, the little turn right before the jump is super loose and kills a lot of speed.
There's a chance we are going to build a bigger and taller wood jump to put there so we will be able to clear cars and stuff. We'll see though.
I agree with the High-dude - def not janky enough - you've set some high standards and we expect nothing less than mega-jank.
Seriously though, looking good.
What happened to the Slayer?

I'm just back in Nevada for Crimmus and left my Slayer and hardtail in Utah, so my only bike left in Nevada is my Compulsion. This summer I'm bringing my Slayer home, and I'm gunna shred northstar on it. Stoked.
Yeah, it's really disappointing how small things can look on camera. Especially on a POV camera. I haven't used the new GoPro yet, but even semi-big 20 footers look like 6 footers on the original GoPro.

You could have landed 5ft farther if you weren't wearing your sisters skinny jeans! That ramp looks too legit, needs some sort of derlict large household appliance to prop it up. This is going to hurt your Janky creditials!
