    Gamut P40 v E13 LG1

I'm stuck trying to choose between these two guides. They seems comparable in weight, but I'm not sure about their real world performance. I don't hit my chainring very often, so i'm thinking i can largely do without a bash ring, but has anyone had experience with the two? Thanks !!

Sam Hill would have won on either chain guide so that should be a deciding factor.

As for the guides go the way I look at it is I've heard good reviews on the P40 and I use an LG-1 which has been great all season but for almost the same weight you can run a P40 you can run the full bash on the P40. The taco hasn't let me down yet but it still scares me. I'm thinking about giving the Gamut a try.

Gamut has always treated me well. there guides are super easy to set up and there one of those items you forget about, b/c of their flawless performance.

Win-win. (Can't go wrong with either)

Personally, I'm diggin' Gamut's minimalist approach.
