    Funn Hooka DH?

I'm pretty much set on Shimano SLXs for me hardtail, but I know a Funn dealer here stocking Hooka DH cranks. Any feedback on these cranks?

They're much heavier, but strong. If you want a decent and reliable set of cranks for DH, the Hookas are your ticket. On the other hand, I have a set of SLX on my FR bike and love them.

I'll check if the Hookas are "competitively priced", if not, I'll go SLX.

Is the BB compatible with say, FSA mega Exo, or Shimano's outboard BB or Truvativ's Howitzer?

Mine were Isis, I got me the SLX from Chainreaction for $135 which is a great deal. If I had to make the decision between those two cranks again, I would go SLX. Funn also has a Hooka FR which may be a little lighter than the DH but still strong.

yeah, The Hooka DH were using outboard bearings, while the Hooka FR was on ISIS. I think I'll stay away from ISIS drive equipped cranks because I have heard and saw a lot of horror stories about them.

A lot of my riding buddies use Hussefelt ISIS drive cranks and the BBs just go away.

    I am sorry.
I have read the two post and I do not still have clear if they are good or wrong.
The weight is not a problem for me.
Is correct to say, that they are good cranks?.

    Thanks

According to others in the thread...they're heavy, burly, strong cranks.
