OK - what's the difference between these two 19mm BBs that FSA makes?

    thanks

you know i was wondering about this the other day since i need to replace the bearings on my x-drive BB. I'm not sure if this is a misrepresentation, but the website says the Euro-Pro has "2x double-row deep-groove full-complement sealed cartridge bearing". If in fact they use true double row bearings (ie. two bearing circuits share the same races), then the Euro is superior to the X-Drives 4x single row bearings.

I'm having tensioning problems with the x4 setup; has to do with how the cranks push on the races and spacers yadda-yadda...anyways, i might call FSA so see if they have double row and if i can get replacements.

Also the Euro-pro has a lighter hollow axle, and looks cooler.

Cool - thanks for the info! I'll go with the Euro Pro then...

Anyone know how the Euro Pro axle compares in weight to other 19mm spindles?

    thx

FSAs kinda notorious for spotty info, but the x-drive BB assembly is listed at 487g and the Euro at 384g, and running some quick numbers i cant see the axle itself being any lighter than 50g's really.

If you really want to trim some weight, there is a Ti axle (might wanna call FSA on that one too), and Profile also makes a Ti axle, but the Ti wont be as strong as the steel alloy one.
