Fox Racing Shox Question?
I have a Kona Stinky Deluxe frame that I want to build next spring. I really love Fox Racing Shox and definetly want to keep Fox on this bike. I'm just not sure what to get. It will either be a 36 180 Float, 36 180 Talas, or 36 180 Van. I'm not sure what the difference really is between the forks. I'm going to use the bike mainly for freeriding and maybe a dh race or 2. I just don't want to throw down the money for a 40. Let me know what you think.

The first has air, the second has a coil and the third is one you should get. The 180 Van RC2 is the bomb! like for real, yo.
No wait I think it's backwards... Just get the Van!
I'm going to rob banks til I retire or get caught. Either way I'm set for life

The float is a set length air fork, the talas is an air fork with adjustable travel (Talas= travel adjustable linear air spring), and the Van is a coil fork
2013 Medium Santa Cruz Blur Trc in Matte/Silver, SPX XC 2x10 Kit, Lyrik RC2DH Solo Air lowered to 135mm up front.

They all have the same damper, even the 40, so don't worry about that.
The vanilla is coil sprung.
The float is air sprung, non adjustable travel/
The talas is air sprung, with external adjustable travel.
The 40 is coil sprung, internal travel adjust via spacers. I am also selling one for a very good price.
I would get the float. I have no need for travel adjust, so it would only be extra weight. I want fox to make Float 40, I would pay millions for that sh*t.
