    Cool-blue Rhythm Finished!

finally we have 2 good ramps. the one on the far side is out launch ramp( not too steep) and the one closest is the landing.

you could probably get some mad distance off of the landing though

    they also have wheels!

and there is a shot w/ my bike so you can see how big(small?) they are.

    btw....ChumbaX built them. i helped a little.

not sure how much it costed. he are also making a "casing platform" so just incase you come up short you don't ruin the jumps while dying.

    4' wide, 4' tall, 8' long.

they have wheels so we can roll them out into the street..... we jsut aren't sure how far we should set them apart(we can move them i know) we were thinking 20-25 ft?

    Transfer

Transfer the gap from launch ramp to landing while they are side by side like that. Sweetness

Do the wheels retract so it doesn't roll away on takeoff/landing?

Make sure you get video of the first time you hit it. I'd love to see you go 25 ft. That thing looks pretty lippy though, I'd be surprised if you gap it at 15' without hitting powerlines.

actually they only touch the ground when you lift up the other side via handles that we've bolted on.

and we decided yo start we'll set them 4 ft apart, i KNOW someones gonna land to flat HARD when they go off of it for the first time.

Or even just butt them together the first time you roll it, you can get an idea of how much it'll pop you and then just start backing it off foot by foot.

why not do both? use the kicker to step up. 180. drop to the landing ramp...

oh, yeah, dont forget the action pics.

p.s. the angle of that kicker is gonna make a 15ft gap seem like a sidewalk crack.

    Chumba....JB...when and where???

I was gonna ride the park tonight but I'd much rather hit those up...have you guys sessioned them yet???

PM me if it's OK to come by and ride them. I know some parents are scared of the whole "liability" issue of letting people ride at their home but that what my insurance is for.

    Let me know.

smart your parents are....when the first grom 50-50s that landing ramp, looses half his teeth, cracks his pelvis and gets a nice concussion, i wouldnt wanna be around when said grom's parents -or worse the parents' lawyers- come-a-callin. although, i think it's bullshit, it's our way of life.

    nice ramps though.

    WE HIT THEM!!!

we put a 1 ft board in the middle and took it as a spine, the launch ramp is steep enough.

sorry no pics the cam died. but we were whipping it out a little, etc....

we were only getting 3 ft high or else overshooting the shiznit out of it.

    thanks,
    JJ

PS- i'll see if i can get action pics tomorrow.
