EVS Neck Guard, Anyone try it? (x-post)

Could this be a good alternative to the Leatt?
Anyone have experience with it? Too big/heavy for biking?
    Great price: $175

    EVS Neck Brace

    Edit:
I see Timbers already spotted Leatt's price-point challenger.

Now the question is does either work well enough?

Faster is better, even when it's not.

I've heard these are great for Moto... I can't remember why, but I've heard they're actually safer and more comfortable than the Leatts. But your head mobility is horrible with the EVS. It's really only for Moto.
    Meh.
