    Is a Eastern Slash 7 frame worth buying

    I was wondering if anyone could give me some info about Eastern Slash 7's i am thinking about buying a frame and have found one does any one know if they bottom out and the tire hits the frame cuase i read that they do on another site any info would be nice thanxs guys

    depends what tire size you run.... in some circumstances it does.

    and they are HEAVY. IMO there are better frames out there.

    i don't care about heavy i just want a decent bike and what tire size rubs i plan on running a 26 by 2.5 tire in the rear and i plan on changing the air shox to coil

    well it depends which manufacturer tire you run... maxxis 2.5 will be fine... specialized 2.5 will be pushing it.. kenda 2.5 will probably rub a tiny bit, and WTB 2.5 will rub fo' sho'.

    the question is how hard will the tire contact the frame and how often will this happen

    I pretty much covered it... It depends on a LOT of variables. Shock choice/ set up, rider weight, tire size / inflation pressure, rim width, and then above all riding Circumstance.

    It won't hit THAT hard... or often if the bike is set up correctly.
