    Ok guys, I got the rear shock delema solved with all your help. Now my question is, What size disc can I get away with? I have two choices. A 160mm or a 185mm disc. Watcha all think?

    You can run a 210 (8") on there if you want. But since your options are 165 or 185 I say, since it sounds like your gonna be riding pretty hard, go with the 185's front and rear. Bigger is better if your going to ride hard and fast.

    8 front , 6 rear

    I don't think that is nesesary 8" or 185mm in rear. In my opinion a nice setup'd be 185mm front and 160mm rear.
    But try to get a nice set of hydraulics brakes.I have the XT's (8&6) and they are great.PricePoint have the fronts on sale for $64.98.
