    Direct Mount DH stem...

I have giant Glory DH 2007 with 888 ATA WC 2009.
I want to buy a new stem and Bars.
I saw the Answer DH Direct Mount stem and Answer Pro Taper 780 DH Riser Bar.
    Will it fit my fork?
    Any other suggestions...

    What about headset?

    Thank you...

No the answer stem will not fit your fork the 888 uses a different bolt pattern.

The two direct mount answer stems will fit dorados, fox 40 and boxxers

What makes the direct mount stem so expensive? It should be cheaper.

I have the Sunline 888 stem and I love it. The Azonic 888 stem is also cool, but its a bit on the heavy side.

too bad the 888 doesn't use the boxxer/40 4-bolt pattern.

I think risse or some other company made 888 crowns with boxxer bolt patter. Chunked also makes a stem-crown for the 888. I'd look into that.

Smaller market. You are comparing a DH stem which most all mountain bikes can use. To a direct mount which only an 888 fork user can use.

twenty6 stem is a super frail design.. i would not advise. i've had two, and both of them broke in one crash each.
