    Cannondale 1999 Super V 900

A mecanic at my local bike shop has a sweet frame that he's selling, the Cannondale 1999 Super V 900. However, he would not sell the frame to me alone because he doesn't think I can build a bike properly. He would only sell the frame if it came with a whole bike and he's willing to do that for $500 with mech disc brakes, and the fork and shock that came with it. Should I do it?

    Hit it up!

I had the 95 V700 modle for 5 years. I put 2 diffrent tripple crown forks on and beat the hell out of it. 3 years at 2 diffrent ski resorts. The frame still is good. I sold it to this fool who only takes it to the beach. But the frame out lasted all the componets.
