I'm not sure, with the box guide, bashes usually don't fit. I would recommend the Blackspire Stinger or any E-13 instead of the boxguide. You can use a bash with both, and the boxguide has always given people problems.

you will need to remove the bash... go ahead and do yourself a favor and buy a gamut or e.13

You will also need at a minimum of a 34t chain ring with the box guide.

Google images... all of the bikes with the box guide have NO bash...

Only a bash with the shift guide, makes sense if you look at the actual DH cranksets that truvativ offers, duel rings=bash vs. single dh=no bash

The Box Guide is basically a cheep LG1

EDIT: just noticed the stiff link in this pic... hahaha

My boxguide came with a bash. It's a Truvativ branded one, and sticks out a good deal from the chainring. Looks like they just spaced it outwards to make room for their bulky guide. I now run singlespeed, but it worked fine.

So then it operates like a SRS, right? Sandwiches the chain in-between the bash and box guide. Makes enough sense to me.
