    Bearclaw down?

Just seen this on facebook: MAN DOWN: We've seen a couple of internet whisperings that Bearclaw has broken his back. He's apparently broken three vertibrae whilst bailing a front-flip. Apparently though, he's not damaged his spinal cord so should make a full recovery.

    Anyone got any more news?

Damn, gnarly stuff, hope he gets well soon. He'll prob miss most of the season though I'd guess..

The yard can sometimes be even more dangerous than the parking lot. I'm sticking to gnarly trails, which are much more safe!
If more people rode more bikes, more places, more often, the world would be a more better place!

saw that on fb. really sucks. really good that his spinal cord is fine. really depends on how bad he broke the vertibrae. if its a compresion fracture he could probably get to biking around the block in several weeks but if he fractured them that could be the season.

what surprises me is that he wasn't wearing any body armor (at least a back protector) during training. isnt the training season the time to be extra careful because you are pushing yourself more?
